The latest visual from director Tim Milgram and choreographer / performer Renee Kester is a dance video set to James Bay’s acoustic cover of HAIM’s song “Forever,” premiering exclusively on Billboard.
Milgram is known for his viral dance videos — including visuals set to Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls)” and Ellie Goulding’s “Hanging On” — and the new vid is an emotionally charged dance performance across an empty library. Bay’s soft vocals are a melancholy soundtrack for the two-minute video, featuring Kester’s mesmerizing twirls and elegant floor contortions.
Kester gained attention last year for her viral dance video for Elliot Moss’ “Slip,” a dance duet filmed in a train station, which she choreographed with fellow dancer Phillip Chbeeb.
This also marks the second time Milgram has directed a clip soundtracked by Bay, following the “Let It Go” video that currently stands with more than 4 million views on YouTube.
